The installation was very good. Michael found all the mistakes the previous installer made which included using twenty year old stop indicators (lights) at the bottom of the garage door, twenty year old hardware to attach the opener to the garage door, and not using the chain sprocket guard to secure the chain to the motor. Michael even rebalanced the garage door to keep it from crashing to the floor when garage emergency cord was pulled to disengage the opener. Until the garage door was rebalanced, I could not open the garage door by myself in case of an emergency. All in all Michael fixed three safety issues the previous installer ignored. He also informed me that the previous installer could have fixed the whole thing by just replacing the chain which would have saved me considerable money.
